Second part of of the story being our attempt to do a full restore of our 1975 V6 coupe.
And then………. on February 10, 2021 the phone rang. Resto guy 2 needed some parts……… (!?)
At first I though he made a mistake and was trying to call someone else, but then seriously he said he had started again. Having had a serious COVID infection he needed a project to help him recover. A project that was not is a real hurry and that could inspire him. Since he likes Peugeots a lot (he did all the body work on the 504 convertible from the movie ‘The 4th Man’ (1983) , he decided to move the 504 from the atic to the work floor and start working on it. Now he needed parts, like lights, bumpers and so on to help him getting the shapes and dimensions right while doing the body work. Will this project finally see some real progress….. YES. Et puis ………. le 10 février 2021, le téléphone a sonné. Resto guy 2 avait besoin de quelques pièces ……… (!?)
Au début, je pensais qu’il avait fait une erreur et qu’il essayait d’appeler quelqu’un d’autre, mais ensuite sérieusement il a dit qu’il avait recommencé. Ayant eu une infection grave Covid il avait besoin d’un projet pour l’aider à récupérer. Un projet qui n’a pas été est vraiment pressé et qui pourrait lui inspirer. Comme il aime beaucoup les Peugeot (il a fait tout le travail de carrosserie sur le cabriolet 504 du film “The 4th Man” (1983), il a décidé de déplacer la 504 du grenier à l’atelier et de commencer à travailler. Et il avait besoin de pièces, comme des phares, des pare-chocs, etc. pour l’aider à obtenir les formes et les dimensions correctes tout en faisant le travail du carosserie. Ce projet verra-t-il enfin de réels progrès ….. OUI. Jetez un œil aux images ci-dessous.
